Hello friends,

Join us for a devotional Bible study titled God with Us: The Gospel of Matthew authored by Moody Bible Institute professor and author Dr. Jim Coakley.

Did you know that many books of the Bible contain “bookends”? Dr. Coakley explained that looking for “bookends” means considering how the biblical author begins and ends a book. In the Gospel of Matthew, for example, it begins and ends with an emphasis on God’s presence!

If you’d like more Bible study tips, be sure to watch my conversation with Dr. Coakley on the Today in the Word YouTube channel. He shares a bit about his new and award-winning book, 14 Fresh Ways to Enjoy the Bible. And, don’t forget to request your personal copy as our “thank you” for your gifts to Today in the Word.

In the Word together,
Jamie Janosz, Managing Editor

P.S. June 30 is a very important date for Today in the Word. The money we raise by the end of this month will determine next steps for our Bible-teaching ministry. If you are being blessed by these studies, will you help with a gift today? (And don’t forget to request your copy of 14 Fresh Ways to Enjoy the Bible!)
