Question and Answer

I trusted Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, but I still have a sinful nature. How is it possible for me to live a holy life?
It is impossible for us to live a life of dedication to Christ in our own strength. The normal Christian life is supernatural. But here is the good news: when we say yes to God and yield our lives to Him, the Holy Spirit fills and enables us to live a holy life, granting us victory over our sinful selves (Rom. 6:12–14; 8:13; Gal. 5:16–24). But remember, we submit to God to live a holy life. We say no to our sinful impulses and yes to His will, and He gives us the power to live according to His Word.
