Paul: A Life of Purpose That Changed the World

  • Apr 2005 Issue
Monthly Issues

When we first met him in Scripture, he was holding coats for the men who stoned Stephen. But a funny thing happened on the road to Damascus. Saul, a fierce opponent of Christianity, was transformed by an encounter with Christ.

Then, in a matter of years, Paul transformed the spiritual landscape of his time by coordinating a similar encounter between Christ and the surrounding Roman Empire. Paul took the gospel beyond the realm of Jewish converts and prepared the way for the global spread of the Church.

This month we'll look at Paul closely to see what we can learn from his amazing transformation from persecutor of the Church to prisoner for his faith, and perhaps you will discover personally the limitless transforming power of Jesus Christ that can revolutionize your world today.
