Today, we have more entertainment options than ever before. Children can watch cartoons on more devices than most of us ever imagined when we were their age. As adults, we can stream nearly any television show or movie. There are more movies, more shows, more books, and more music readily available to us than ever before. The possibilities are endless!

A Conversation with July's "Wisdom From Above" Devotional Author

From the Editor

Hello friends,

What do you do when you encounter a problem? When we find ourselves in a difficult spot or puzzling situation, most of us turn to a close friend for advice. Or maybe we search the internet for a helpful article or expert. But I’ve found that often even those trusted resources can fall short.

We all need God’s wisdom!

In this month’s study of the book of Proverbs, Wisdom from Above, devotional author Dr. Russell Meek explains, “Proverbs was originally written to train young men, giving them the wisdom to follow a righteous path, living in right relationship with God. But the Old Testament book of Proverbs is certainly not just for the young. Wisdom beckons to us all!”

We hope you’ll join us to consider what this ancient book of wisdom teaches us today. This study will help you respond to wisdom’s call by seeking the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. Thank you for being a part of our Bible study.
